Santa Fe
This island is one of the oldest islands in the archipelago. It has a beautiful bay with sea lions, blue footed boobies, and marine iguanas. The attraction of this island is the beautiful clear water and the fact that the water is calm. Santa Fe has three dive sites. We recommend Santa Fe for beginnng and advanced divers. Because it is so calm, Santa Fe is also incredible for Discovery Scuba as well as scuba classes.
La Punta
La Punta is on the east side of the island with a rock and sandy bottom gradually sloping to deeper waters. The dive begins in a protected area and then we dive with the current. Here we can see cat sharks, grandfather sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and reef fish. This site is good for divers of all levels.
El Arco
El Arco is one of the best dive sites in Santa Fe. Here we have the chance to enter a cave where you can see sea lions, rays, moray eels, lobster, octopus, and cleaning stations. After the cave, we continue diving on a black coral wall where we can see eagle rays, hammerhead sharks, and schools of pompanos and yellow tailed mullets.
El Barranco
El Barranco welcomes us to Santa Fe as a place with calm waters where we do the check dive as well as the first dive. Here we can see sea turtles, saucepan rays, diamond rays, grandfather sharks, corals, and reef fish. This site is excellent for Discovery Scuba divers, beginners, and advanced divers. We dive along with the current.
