Open Water Diver

In this course we will see, learn, and practice together. Of course, we will also have fun!
Structure of the Course
- diving theory
- practice in confined water
- practice in open water
- swimming practice
- bouyancy practice
Prerequisites
- age 12 or older
- ability to swim
- bring 2 photographs to course start
Course Outline
The course consists of 4 days from 08:00am to 17:30pm, plus homework.
Schedule of the 4 days:
Day 1
08:00am-12:30pm meeting of students and instructor, introduction to the course, videos, theory, and review of concepts
12:30pm Lunch
14:00pm-17:30pm practice setting up equipment, practice using equipment in confined water
Day 2
08:30am-12:30pm tests 1, 2, 3, video, theory lessons, review of important concepts
12:30pm Lunch
14:00pm-17:30pm practice setting up equipment, practice using equipment in confined water
Day 3
07:30am practice diving in open water!
Dive #1: 40ft/12m; time 60 min
surface interval: 1:20 hours
Dive #2: 40ft/12m; time 60 min
13:30pm Lunch
15:00pm-18:00pm test 4, video, theory, review of important concepts
Day 4
07:30am practice diving in open water!
Dive #1: 40ft/12m; time 60 min
surface interval: 1:20 hours
Dive #2: 40ft/12m; time 60 min
13:30pm Lunch
15:00-Final exam, PADI certification, course closure
